After a great deal of thought, I am considering a very special retirement home for Skye š¾

Skye is a loving, affectionate and deeply sensitive girl who thrives most when she has confident canine companionship around her. She absolutely adores people, but emotionally she draws reassurance, understanding and confidence from other dogs, and it has become very clear that she is happiest and most settled as part of a calm, balanced pack environment.
For that reason, Skye would only be considered for a home with an existing confident, friendly dog (or multiple dogs) who can help guide and anchor her. She is very submissive in nature and does best with steady, emotionally stable dogs around her.
In the right environment, she is a happy, affectionate and rewarding companion with so much love to give. She is intelligent, gentle and bonds deeply with her people once she feels safe and settled.
This will not be a first-come-first-served placement, and there is absolutely no rush. Her welfare and long-term happiness come first.
If the perfect home is not found, the alternative plan is for Skye to remain here until one of my own girls retires, at which point they may potentially be homed together as a pair, as companionship appears to be incredibly important for her wellbeing.
Suitable experienced homes are welcome to message privately for further discussion. A sensible adoption fee applies.
