Puppy Update: Training Continues at Bluebell
It has been another busy and rewarding week here at Bluebell. Today, Hestia and Magnus left for their lovely new homes. It was wonderful to meet their families and help them begin the next chapter of their lives.
We currently have six puppies remaining with us. One will be staying here at Bluebell, two will be leaving for their new homes next week, and one will eventually be travelling to Zambia. As he cannot travel until November, he will continue living and training with us in the meantime.
We also have two puppies available to carefully selected homes.
Destrier Forge Flint
Flint is a playful, inquisitive and wonderfully cheeky little chap with a great deal of character. He loves interacting with people and being involved in whatever is happening around him.
This week, Flint has been learning some valuable lessons about boundaries, calmness and making better choices. He is coming through this stage beautifully and, alongside his playful nature, he is showing that he has a very nice off switch and can settle well.
Flint would suit an active individual or family who would enjoy having an intelligent, interactive and entertaining companion. There have already been six or seven expressions of interest in him, but Flint will not simply go to the first available home. The match must be right for both him and his new family.
He is ready to begin his next adventure.
Destrier Rose Petal
Petal is from Primrose’s litter and is available again through absolutely no fault of her own.
She had gone to her new home and was settling in beautifully. Sadly, the family’s existing dogs began showing signs of stress, and it became clear that the situation was not comfortable for everyone. Her family therefore made the difficult but responsible decision to return Petal so that she could find a more suitable home.
Petal has returned to Bluebell confidently and happily. She will continue receiving plenty of care, socialisation and training while I take the time to find her the right forever family.
All puppies remaining here continue to receive age-appropriate training and support. I never rush to place a puppy simply because one is available—the right home will always be more important than the quickest home.
