More Than Simply Reared
Born here. Raised with purpose. Prepared for life.

At Bluebell Springer Spaniels, I don’t simply rear a litter until the puppies are old enough to leave. From birth, each puppy goes through an age-appropriate programme of development, socialisation and early training, designed around how puppies learn and develop at each stage. My aim is not to produce a “perfect puppy” — no breeder can promise that. Puppies are individuals, and moving into a new home is another major developmental transition. What I can give them is the strongest foundation I reasonably can before they leave me.That includes carefully introducing puppies to normal household life, different environments, people, sounds, handling and experiences without overwhelming them.As they develop, I begin teaching the foundations of calmness, connection, confidence, frustration tolerance, independence and the ability to switch off and settle. They also begin learning through everyday life: responding to their name, following people, accepting boundaries, being handled, spending appropriate periods apart from their littermates, travelling, settling indoors and beginning the transition towards crate and home routines.I observe the puppies as individuals throughout their development.Their personalities, confidence, sensitivities and learning styles are not identical, so I adapt what I do rather than treating an entire litter as though every puppy is the same.Much of this work happens quietly in the background. It isn’t about producing a puppy that can perform a list of tricks at eight weeks old.It is about building neurological, emotional and behavioural foundations during an extremely important period of development. When one of my puppies leaves, their education is not finished — it has only just begun.Their new family will still need to continue that work consistently as the puppy grows, settles into a new environment and learns a completely new routine. But they are not starting from zero. They are taking home a puppy who has had considerable time, thought, observation and professional experience invested in giving them the best possible start.I don’t sell “pre-trained puppies”.I raise puppies with foundations. My prices reflect not only the puppy itself, but the breeding, health care, rearing, developmental work, socialisation, early training, preparation and support that goes into producing a Bluebell puppy.I do not cut corners on the puppies in order to reduce their price. For that reason, my puppy prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

Payment Options

I want the payment process to be clear, straightforward and fair for everyone.

I do not personally offer credit, finance or private payment plans.

If the timing is not quite right financially, you are very welcome to save and wait for a future litter. I would always rather somebody waits until they are comfortable than feels pressured into taking on a puppy before the time is right.

There are, however, several ways to pay.

Bank transfer or cash
My standard puppy price applies when paying directly by bank transfer or cash.

Pets4Homes Pet Payments
Where available through Pets4Homes, buyers may be able to pay by debit or credit card using the Pets4Homes payment system.

PayPal
PayPal may offer split-payment or other payment options to eligible customers, subject to PayPal’s own approval and terms. Where PayPal is used, an additional amount may be included in the advertised website price to cover the increased processing cost.

Any credit, finance or split-payment arrangement is entirely between the buyer and the third-party payment provider. Bluebell Springer Spaniels does not make lending decisions or extend credit directly.

Reserving Your Puppy

A puppy is initially secured with a £50 holding fee.

By four weeks of age, a £300 non-refundable deposit is required to fully secure your puppy.

The remaining £1,000 balance is due on or before collection.

If the balance is paid before collection, I can prepare the relevant paperwork in advance, helping to make collection day simpler and smoother.

I cannot hold puppies indefinitely without the required deposit, as I also need to be fair to other suitable homes who may be waiting.

All prospective homes are asked to complete an application before a puppy is reserved.

I do not simply sell puppies to the first person who enquires.

My priority is to match each puppy with the right home.

The right home matters more than the quickest sale.
